Conservatories are glazed single storey extensions constructed on a dwarf wall or full height glazing, with a glass or polycarbonate roof. Work includes the base and groundworks, dwarf wall brickwork, frames and glazing, the roof, and the connection back to the house, available in styles such as Victorian, Edwardian and lean to. Doors and electrics are fitted as needed.
Conservatories fall within permitted development rights, meaning they are exempt from planning permission providing the structure sits at the rear of the home, stands under four metres in height, is no wider than the existing home and extends no more than 6 metres out (or 8 metres for detached houses).
